Literature Text

we're all fools in this world
no one understands a thing
we all hold up our clever guise
as the intelligent animal king

a kingdom empty is what we have
our only subject is ourself
we look for more but we get less
our treasury is yearning, we crave

the kingdom walls are grey and bland
hidden behind colourful paint of lies
the castle is but still and silent
our inside will never be

a greeting, a touch, a chat, farewell
from she we take, from we she take
never shrinking, never growing
our kingdom is forever same

we the selfish claim ourself selfless
we give away what we have not
we take from what we cannot
we have nothing in our walls

we started as one, one we still are
the kingdom was small and lonely
time walks slowly but it's too fast
the kingdom is large and lonely

outside our towers are many roads
roads that attack and intersect the other
roads that go where none else go
roads that never end up anywhere

but we the kingdom is stationary
all we can do is wait for one
one to approach our darkened moat
and break though it with ease

we wait for the one who can
destroy completely our outer walls
raid and pilfer what isn't there
steal away our invisible treasure

we wait for ----

This is very well written!
The imagery is touching, and the wordplay is fantastic!
There are but very fer point which I might say were dry, as you stated some things many times; but in different words. Though I wouldn't change a thing!
Good work :)
